This is a shift-based role, and two Kitchen Managers will be recruited to support the smooth operation of the kitchen across different shifts. We are looking for experienced and highly organized Kitchen Managers to oversee the daily operations of a busy kitchen. Key Responsibilities: Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen safety. Monitor food wastage and implement measures to minimize unnecessary costs. Manage kitchen inventory, stock levels, and proper storage of ingredients. Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations. Ensure food is prepared and presented according to established quality and portion standards. Ensure kitchen equipment and facilities are properly maintained and used safely. Prepare and monitor kitchen schedules, staff duties, and shift assignments. Supervise, coordinate, and manage kitchen staff across assigned shifts. Work closely with management and other departments to ensure efficient service delivery. Maintain accurate records relating to stock, wastage, staff schedules, and kitchen operations where required. Monitor kitchen supplies and communicate procurement needs when necessary. Monitor food preparation, cooking, plating, and service processes. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen and ensure smooth workflow. Identify and resolve operational issues within the kitchen promptly. Train, guide, and motivate kitchen staff to improve performance and productivity. Requirements: Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation, hygiene, and safety standards. Ability to work flexible hours and operate effectively within a shift-based schedule. Proven experience: managing and supervising kitchen staff. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Minimum of 3 years' experience: in a Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, Head Chef, or other relevant managerial/supervisory position. This is a mandatory requirement due to the shift-based nature of the role. Good understanding of inventory and stock management. Strong leadership and team-management skills.
