We are looking for motivated interns to join our product and engineering team. These roles are suitable for recent graduates or early-career professionals who want hands-on experience: building real-world digital products while working alongside experienced developers, designers, and product team members. Role Overview A personal or group project is acceptable following this — and even better, prior experience: on a live project is considered an added advantage. You will work with the development team to build APIs, implement business logic, work with databases, integrate third-party services, and help ensure our applications are secure, reliable, and scalable. We are looking for a Backend Developer Intern to support the development, testing, and maintenance of the server-side components of our applications. Training & Project Requirement: This role requires that the individual should have completed a relevant training. Responsibilities: Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code. Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL. Implement authentication, authorization, and access-control features. Assist with database schema design, queries, migrations, and data validation. Write unit and integration tests for backend functionality. Participate in code reviews and technical discussions. Implement application business logic based on product requirements. Work with frontend developers to integrate APIs. Follow security and data-protection best practices. Help identify and fix backend bugs. Assist in developing and maintaining backend services and REST APIs. Use Git and GitHub for source control and collaboration. Integrate third-party services and APIs. Assist with API documentation. General Internship Requirements: Candidates should: Have basic knowledge of the role they are applying for.
