Social Media & Content Associate Job Type Full Time , Onsite Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience: 2 - 4 years Location Abuja Job Field Content, Editorial and Journalism , Marketing and Communication Salary Range ₦100,000 - ₦150,000/month Role Summary We are looking for a creative, digitally native Social Media & Content Associate to support content creation and social media management across Feed Avenue Ltd and Sahel Botanicals. This is not simply a posting role. We need someone who is naturally curious, highly online, aware of trends and platform culture, and able to turn ideas into engaging content without needing every step mapped out for them. The ideal candidate is a strong video editor and content creator who can think independently, contribute original ideas, work to deadlines, engage audiences and potential customers, and take ownership of their work from idea to execution. Qualification Requirement BA/BSc/HND Key Responsibilities: Content Creation & Planning Create a minimum of 4 video contents weekly across Feed Avenue and Sahel Botanicals . Develop original content ideas and experiment with new formats, styles and approaches. Edit short and long-form video content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube. Support the creation of carousels and standalone graphics. Write platform-appropriate captions and post copy. Develop and maintain monthly content calendars. Ensure balanced coverage of relevant products, sectors and brand priorities. Review, understand and take ownership of all work before submission. Trends & Research Keep up with social media, cultural and industry trends relevant to both brands. Track developments within agriculture, animal nutrition, livestock, agribusiness and related industries. Regularly bring new formats, references, editing styles and content opportunities to the team. Social Media & Community Management Manage content across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube . Schedule and publish approved content accurately and on time. Monitor and respond promptly to comments, DMs, mentions and inquiries. Identify and engage potential customers and social media leads. Escalate qualified leads, complaints and technical inquiries appropriately. Maintain the agreed brand voice across interactions. Reporting & Workflow Track content and advertising performance and maintain records of inquiries and leads. Prepare weekly and monthly social media reports and identify opportunities for improvement. Meet agreed deadlines and communicate early where a blocker may affect delivery. Provide progress updates without needing repeated follow-up. Record instructions and action points during meetings and follow through on them. Apply feedback accurately and resubmit corrections within agreed timelines. Required Skills Strong short-form and workable long-form video editing skills and practical experience: . Strong working knowledge of CapCut, including the desktop/PC version . Good working knowledge of Canva and Meta Business Suite . Graphic design skills with a good eye for layout, typography and visual hierarchy. Strong understanding of Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube . Experience: creating social media content and content calendars. Good social media copywriting, analytics and reporting skills. Strong communication, organisation and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
