We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Project Supervisor Job ID: IITA/P&C/NRS2026-033 Location: Ibadan, Oyo Contract: 3-year renewable contract Duties Develop project work plans, schedules, and cost estimates to support timely and efficient implementation. Any other responsibilities: as may be assigned by the supervisor Ensure all works comply with approved designs, drawings, specifications, safety requirements, and organizational standards. Identify and resolve technical, operational, and administrative issues that may affect project delivery. Receive, review, and analyze work orders and service requests to determine scope, priorities, and resource requirements. Coordinate activities among FMS units, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and seamless project execution. Maintain accurate project records and support continuous improvement initiatives within the Project Coordination Unit Implement and monitor materials standardization protocols to promote consistency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Prepare periodic reports on service requests, project status, completed works, outstanding issues, and recommendations. Conduct site inspections and track project progress to verify compliance with approved plans and performance targets. Monitor project and work order execution to ensure tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Requirements: Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in BSC in Civil Engineering, Building Tech, or other related discipline along with 2 years of Experience: performing a similar role. Prior experience: in facilities management, corporate services, construction project management, operations coordination, or within a research institute, international organization, or corporate environment is highly desirable. Competencies: The ideal candidate must have: Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong communication and supervisory skills. Technical knowledge of civil and structural engineering and construction processes. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
