We are seeking an experienced, skilled, and patient-focused Dentist to join our dental team at the Awka branch. We are committed to delivering high-quality oral healthcare services with professionalism, compassion, and excellence. Responsibilities: Promote oral health awareness and build long-term patient relationships. Provide preventive dental care, including fissure sealants, fluoride applications, and oral health education. Perform comprehensive dental examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning. Manage dental emergencies such as pain, trauma, and infections. Collaborate with dental therapists, hygienists, and other healthcare professionals for multidisciplinary care. Adhere to infection control, sterilization protocols, and radiation safety standards. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation in the clinic management system. Carry out restorative procedures (fillings, crowns, bridges), extractions, scaling and polishing, and root canal treatments. Prescribe appropriate medications and advise patients on post-treatment care. Qualifications Additional certification in areas such as implantology, orthodontics, or endodontics is an added advantage. National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate (completed). Minimum of 2–3 years post-qualification experience: in a reputable dental clinic or hospital. Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from a recognized and accredited institution. Valid practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN). Requirements: & Skills: Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-centered approach especially with children and anxious patients. Commitment to ethical practice, continuous professional development, and patient confidentiality. Computer literate with proficiency in dental software and electronic records. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy clinical environment. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent clinical skills in general dentistry with strong attention to detail.
