We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Audit Assistant Location: Ibadan, Oyo Employment Type: Full-time Summary We are looking for a careful and detail-oriented Audit Assistant to support the Internal Audit team. The successful candidate will help conduct risk-based audits, ensuring compliance with professional standards, and contributing to improvements in internal controls and risk management processes. Key Responsibilities: Participate in training sessions and actively learn from coaching and mentoring provided by senior auditors. Support fieldwork activities, including testing internal controls and verifying compliance with policies. Assist in audit planning by gathering relevant information and preparing documentation. Contribute to process improvements by suggesting enhancements to audit methodologies. Prepare working papers and ensure accuracy and completeness of audit evidence. Draft audit findings and communicate observations clearly to supervisors. Follow up on recommendations to track corrective actions taken by departments. Required Qualifications Experience: within a manufacturing, FMCG, or similar operational environment will be an added advantage. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2 - 3 years’ experience: in internal audit or related fields. Strong analytical skills with excellent reporting and communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other relevant business applications. Knowledge of internal controls, risk management, and compliance frameworks. Student membership in a professional body such as ACA or ACCA (an added advantage).
