Read more about this company Pharmacist Job Type Full Time Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience: 2 years Location Abuja Job Field Pharmaceutical Summary The Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring the safe, effective, and rational use of medicines while delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care to patients. The role involves dispensing medications, providing clinical advice, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, managing inventory, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Accurately review, prepare, and dispense prescription medications in accordance with legal and professional standards. Counsel patients on the safe use of medications, including dosage, administration, side effects, interactions, and storage. Verify prescription accuracy and resolve any medication-related issues with prescribers when necessary. Monitor patients for adverse drug reactions and provide appropriate pharmaceutical interventions. Maintain accurate patient medication records and ensure confidentiality always. Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, ethical standards, and organizational policies. Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff where applicable. Manage medication inventory, including stock control, expiry monitoring, and procurement requests. Participate in medication therapy management and clinical decision-making.
