We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Finance Officer Location: Ogodu, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Officer to manage the organization's financial operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain compliance with statutory regulations, and support sound financial decision-making. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and experience: in financial management. Key Responsibilities: Support internal and external audits by providing required financial documentation. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls. Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve outstanding discrepancies. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. Maintain the fixed asset register and oversee asset accounting. Monitor expenditure to ensure compliance with approved budgets and company policies. Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency and profitability. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial planning. Monitor cash flow and ensure effective treasury management. Process payments, invoices, receipts, and journal entries in a timely manner. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and reconciliations. Ensure timely remittance of statutory deductions, including PAYE, VAT, WHT, Pension, and other regulatory obligations. Collaborate with other departments to support business operations and financial objectives. Requirements: Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or ACA is an added advantage. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail. Minimum of 3 years' experience: in accounting or finance. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and statutory compliance. Ability to work independently and meet strict reporting deadlines. Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or ERP systems).
