We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Account Technician / Account Clerk to support the finance team with routine accounting, record-keeping, documentation, and administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities: Support the Finance team with routine month-end accounting activities. Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities. Assist with maintaining accounting records, ledgers, and financial documentation. Support the preparation and processing of invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other accounting documents. Verify financial documents and ensure transactions are properly supported and authorised. Follow up on outstanding invoices, payments, and other accounting-related matters when required. Assist with data entry and updating of accounting systems and spreadsheets. Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned. Maintain proper filing and organisation of accounting records and supporting documents. Assist in preparing schedules and basic financial reports as assigned. Support bank and other account reconciliations. Record and post daily financial transactions accurately. Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of financial information. Requirements: Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with minimal supervision. Good organisational and record-keeping skills. 0-2 years relevant work experiencein accounting, finance, or a related role. Good numerical and data-entry skills. Maximum of OND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to learn and develop professionally. Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar software is an added advantage.
