We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and professionally responsible Guidance & Counselling Officer to provide emotional, academic, career, behavioral, and personal support to teenagers. Key Responsibilities: Monitor students' progress and maintain accurate and confidential counselling records. Prepare counselling reports and provide recommendations based on observed student needs. Assess students' needs and develop appropriate support and intervention plans. Provide academic and career guidance to help teenagers make informed decisions about their education: and future careers. Promote a safe, supportive, respectful, and inclusive environment for teenagers. Identify students experiencing emotional, behavioral, or social difficulties and provide appropriate counselling or referrals. Work closely with parents, teachers, school management, and other relevant stakeholders to support students' development. Develop and facilitate programs on self-esteem, leadership, study skills, emotional intelligence, communication, and life skills. Handle sensitive situations professionally and escalate serious concerns to the appropriate authority when necessary. Provide individual and group counselling sessions to teenagers on academic, emotional, social, behavioral, and personal matters. Requirements: Professional certification or membership with a recognized counselling/psychology association is an added advantage. Good report-writing and documentation skills. Strong empathy, patience, emotional intelligence, and conflict-resolution abilities. Ability to work effectively with teenagers, parents, teachers, and management. Strong understanding of adolescent development and teenage behavioural issues. Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills. Bachelor's Degree in Guidance & Counselling, Psychology, Education, Social Work, or a related field. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. 3–5 years' experience: in counselling, mentoring, youth development, or a related role.
