The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and comprehensive project management experience: to ensure safe, efficient, and timely execution of shutdown activities. We invite you to join us on a technical support contract. The position is based in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. The Shutdown Project Manager will oversee and manage shutdown projects within oil & gas facilities in Nigeria. Responsibilities: The position we are offering involves the following main responsibilities: Project Management and Execution: Ensure all shutdown activities are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with HSE standards ; Plan, coordinate, and execute shutdown projects from preparation through completion ; Supervise multidisciplinary teams across maintenance and construction scopes. Technical Scope: Manage operations within the following disciplines: Pressure Vessels (PVV), Structural works (STR), Vessels and capacity-related equipment ; Oversee activities including: Preparation and work-pack development, Fabrication works, Site installation and execution. Planning and Reporting: Implement effective planning, scheduling, and progress measurement systems. Ensure accurate progress tracking and reporting to stakeholders ; Develop and monitor: Project schedules and shutdown timelines, Resource allocation plans Back-Office and Coordination: coordinate with internal departments and clients to ensure smooth project execution. manage overall project coordination including: Progress monitoring and control, Invoicing and cost tracking, Site mobilization and demobilization ; Subcontract and Personal Management: Manage personnel mobilization, including workforce planning and logistics ; Supervise subcontractors, ensuring compliance with technical and safety requirements: ; Ensure effective communication and coordination between site teams and headquarters. Required Profile You have at least 10 years of experience: in shutdown/project management within the oil & gas or similar industrial sectors. You are fluent in English. You have a solid knowledge of project management tools and methodologies You have excellent organizational and coordination abilities. You have developped a strong leadership, team management skills, a strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. You have the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced shutdown environment. You have demonstrated experience: in: fabrication and installation, project planning and scheduling, progress reporting and project controls. Also a proven experience: in maintenance and multidisciplinary projects, and strong understanding of PVV, structural, and vessel-related works.
