Read more about this company Furniture Maker (Upholstery and Laminate) Job Type Contract Qualification OND , Secondary School (SSCE) Experience: 1 - 2 years Location Lagos City Ikeja Job Field Art / Crafts / Languages Job Summary We are seeking hardworking and reliable individuals to join our furniture production team as Factory staff in the following capacities: Upholstery, Laminate etc. The Furniture Factory Staff will assist in the manufacturing, assembling, finishing, and packaging of furniture products while ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the production and assembly of furniture items. Operate factory tools and machinery safely and efficiently. Cut, shape, sand, and polish wood and other materials as required. Support upholstery, painting, or finishing processes when needed. Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards. Load, unload, and move materials within the factory. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area. Follow workplace safety guidelines and company procedures. Report faulty equipment or production issues to supervisors. Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets. Requirements: Candidates should possess an SSCE / OND qualification with 1 - 2 years experience. Previous factory or furniture-making experience. Ability to use basic hand and power tools. Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials. Good teamwork and communication skills. Attention to detail and willingness to learn. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
