Daily responsibilities: encompass the preparation of lesson materials, instruction of phonics to both small groups and entire classes, assessment of student progress, and provision of targeted support to learners with diverse abilities. The Phonics Teacher is expected to uphold the school’s values while fostering a supportive, safe, and motivating classroom environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging phonics lessons that promote early literacy development, which includes reading, spelling, and pronunciation. Additionally, this role entails maintaining accurate records, collaborating with fellow educators and school staff, communicating regularly with parents and caregivers, and contributing to school-wide initiatives aimed at enhancing language and literacy outcomes. Qualifications Experience: in training or mentoring learners to build confidence and promote independent learning skills. A solid foundation in Education: and Teaching, with practical experience: in early literacy or phonics instruction. Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and ongoing professional development. Proficiency in designing effective lesson plans tailored to various learning levels and needs. Familiarity with the British Curriculum and phonics programs or methodologies.
