Key Responsibilities: Develop and facilitate workshops on topics such as self-esteem, leadership, study skills, career planning, conflict resolution, and emotional intelligence. Monitor students' progress and evaluate the effectiveness of counseling interventions. Assess students' needs and develop appropriate intervention and support plans. Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. Maintain confidential student records and prepare counseling reports where required. Identify students experiencing emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges and provide appropriate support or referrals. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school administrators to support students' overall well-being and academic success. Guide students in making informed academic, career, and personal development decisions. Provide individual and group counseling sessions to teenagers on academic, emotional, social, and behavioral issues. Stay informed on emerging trends, best practices, and safeguarding policies related to adolescent development and mental health. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Guidance & Counselling, Psychology, Education, Social Work, or a related discipline. A Master's Degree is an added advantage. Strong conflict resolution, crisis intervention, and problem-solving skills. Experience: organizing youth development, mentoring, or life skills programs is highly desirable. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Professional certification or membership with a recognized counseling or psychology body is an added advantage. Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills. Strong understanding of adolescent psychology, child development, and mental health support. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and report writing. 3–5 years' experience: providing counseling services to teenagers or young adults.
