Key Responsibilities: Monitor patients and promptly escalate complications when identified. Review clinical records, investigations, imaging, and laboratory results. Ensure compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and hospital policies. Support clinical audits, quality improvement, teaching, and service development. Prepare surgical instruments, equipment, and materials for procedures. Support postoperative patient care in collaboration with the Cardiac ICU and clinical teams. Assist the Consultant Cardiac Surgeon during cardiac surgical procedures. Maintain accurate clinical and surgical documentation. Participate in ward rounds and multidisciplinary cardiac case discussions. Assist with preoperative assessment and preparation of patients. Requirements: Strong commitment to patient safety, professionalism, and continuous learning. Good understanding of perioperative and postoperative surgical care. MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree or relevant surgical qualification. Ability to work effectively in an operating theatre and multidisciplinary environment.
