We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Storekeeper Location: Abuja (FCT) Reports to: Financial Controller / Procurement Manager Direct Reports: Store Assistants Main Function The Store Keeper is responsible for the receipt, safe storage, accurate recording, and controlled issuance of all hotel stock and inventory, ensuring accountability and preventing loss or wastage. Role Responsibilities: Store Operations: Organize the store to ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO) and easy retrieval. Record all stock movements accurately in the inventory system. Receive and inspect deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes. Process departmental requisitions and issue stock accordingly. Inventory Control: Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels and flag re-order requirements. Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock against system records. Report discrepancies, damages, or expired stock promptly. Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized storage environment. Coordination & Reporting: Maintain proper documentation for audit purposes. Support monthly and year-end stock-take exercises. Liaise with Procurement and Finance on stock valuation and purchasing needs. Qualifications and Requirements: OND / HND in Purchasing & Supply, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. 2-4 years' experience: in store keeping or inventory management, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
