We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Inventory Accountant Location: Obajana Plant, Kogi Job Summary The Inventory Accountant at Dangote cement Plc ensures accuracy of the integrity of all stock balances, report on stock variances and stock adjustments required and timely reporting of monthly cash count and cash count certificate. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Chief Finance Officer. Ensure confirmation and reconciliation of quantity with physical quantities of bustages and rejected bags. Ensure accuracy of monthly Cash Count and Cash Count Certificate. Responsible for assuring the integrity of all stock balances. Prepare Head office Stock Monthly, Quarterly and Year end summary report and ensure accurate and timely submission. Coordinate monthly stock verification and certification. Requirements: Good understanding of trends, challenges, opportunities, regulations and legislations relating to the cement manufacturing industry. Basic knowledge of accounting packages and systems, including SAP. Good data gathering, analysis and problem-solving skills High ethical standards and integrity. Good knowledge and understanding of finance best practices, IFRS, and other applicable accounting standards. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in accounting or other related discipline. Minimum of ten (10) years relevant experience. Relevant professional qualifications such as ACA, CIMA, CPA, ACCA.
