We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Supervisor Location: Kebbi Employment Type: Full-time Department: Engineering Reports To: Plant/Engineering Manager Supervises: WTP/ETP Operators & Utility Personnel Role Purpose Responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), ensuring treated water availability, effective wastewater treatment, environmental compliance, and adherence to HSE standards. Key Responsibilities: Conduct equipment inspections and coordinate preventive/corrective maintenance. Maintain accurate operational, quality, maintenance, and safety records. Ensure treated water and effluent meet required quality and regulatory standards. Manage treatment chemicals, including safe storage, dosing, usage, and stock control. Operate and monitor WTP/ETP processes, equipment, pumps, filters, blowers, and chemical-dosing systems. Ensure compliance with HSE and environmental regulations. Supervise, schedule, train, and evaluate WTP/ETP operators. Promptly identify and escalate equipment failures, quality deviations, and environmental incidents. Requirements: Good knowledge of HSE and environmental compliance. Practical knowledge of water/wastewater treatment, chemical dosing, filtration, pumps, and treatment equipment. HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. Strong leadership, analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills. 3 - 5 years’ relevant WTP/ETP experience, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, agro-processing, or food-processing.
