In addition to technical ability, they should demonstrate sound communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. Resources should be well versed in drilling, well, or construction operations. Wells Advisors typically have expertise in one or more job family skills and serve as resources to mentor and develop the broader organization. Wells Advisors are essential in order to mentor and advise drilling and completion engineers on well planning, well design, and operational surveillance for the safe and efficient drilling and completing of drilling programs. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: In addition to Level 1 and 2 tasks, a Level 3 must: Mentor and interface with less-experienced drilling and completion engineers. Provide oversight of Drilling programs, and ensure continuity and consistency in practices across multiple rig lines. Interface with Affiliate / Business Unit on Logistics, Environmental, Regulatory, Procurement and Cost Stewardship activities. Develop and lead longer-term team performance improvement initiatives and engineering studies. Make continuous effort to improve efficiencies in Drilling and Completion operations.
