Key Responsibilities: Support regular stocktaking and investigate discrepancies. Review daily sales and operational records where required. Perform other duties assigned by management. Handle basic customer complaints and escalate serious issues to management. Ensure smooth opening and closing of the supermarket according to company procedures. Report staff, stock, equipment, and operational issues to management. Assist with receiving and checking deliveries. Monitor stock levels and ensure shelves are adequately stocked. Help minimize stock losses, wastage, and product damage. Supervise the daily activities of supermarket staff. Monitor compliance with company policies and procedures. Prepare or submit daily operational reports to management. Monitor product arrangement, pricing, labelling, and expiry dates. Ensure the supermarket maintains high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Assign duties and monitor staff attendance and performance. Ensure damaged or expired products are identified and reported. Support staff training and onboarding where necessary. Ensure all departments and aisles are properly organized and maintained.
