Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting & Accounting: Maintain accurate accounting records and process daily financial transactions. Prepare financial statements, management reports, and maintain the general ledger. Monitor income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and capital accounts. Reconciliation & Controls: Ensure proper documentation and adherence to internal financial controls. Perform bank, customer, loan, and investment reconciliations. Compliance & Audit: Support internal/external audits and preparation of regulatory reports. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and microfinance banking requirements. Budgeting & Financial Analysis: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis. Provide financial insights to support business decisions. Treasury & Risk Management: Monitor liquidity and identify financial risks or control gaps. Process payments and financial transactions while ensuring proper approvals. Requirements: 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably within a microfinance bank, bank, or financial institution. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, regulatory compliance, and Microsoft Excel. ACA, ACCA, ICAN, or equivalent certification is an added advantage.
