We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Maintenance Inspection Officer Locations: Lagos & Port Harcourt - Rivers Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Inspection Officer to conduct facility inspections, asset condition monitoring, maintenance assurance, and HSE audits. The role will ensure asset reliability, safety, regulatory compliance, and optimal facility performance. Key Responsibilities: Facilities Inspection & Asset Monitoring: Conduct routine and periodic inspections of facilities, infrastructure, and technical systems. Prepare inspection reports and recommend corrective actions. Maintain inspection schedules and asset health records. Identify defects, safety hazards, and maintenance requirements. Assess asset condition, functionality, integrity, and operational readiness. Maintenance & Reliability: Verify maintenance quality and conduct post-maintenance inspections. Participate in root-cause investigations of major equipment failures. Coordinate and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Support asset integrity, reliability, and life-cycle improvement initiatives. Monitor maintenance backlogs and closure of outstanding actions. Risk & HSE Management: Support ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification and audit activities. Identify facility and equipment-related risks and recommend mitigation measures. Ensure maintenance activities comply with company HSE standards and Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements. Participate in HSE inspections, incident investigations, and emergency preparedness activities. Reporting & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, civil, instrumentation, and other technical teams. Participate in technical meetings and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate and up-to-date asset registers and inspection records. Track anomalies, downgraded situations, and corrective actions to closure. Requirements: Experience: with SAP PM/CMMS, Building Management Systems, MS Office, SharePoint, Power Automate, or Power Apps is an advantage. Strong communication, reporting, analytical, and stakeholder management skills. Auditor training/certification is an advantage. Experience: with critical power systems and building infrastructure. 5–8 years' post-NYSC experience: in maintenance, inspection, or facilities management.
