The Job Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and equipment history. Respond to and recover breakdown vehicles to minimize operational downtime. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faults on diesel engines, transmissions, and related vehicle systems. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on tractors, trailers, heavy-duty trucks, and earth-moving equipment. Conduct routine inspections and identify potential mechanical issues before they result in equipment failure. Ensure all repairs are completed within approved timelines and accurately record repair activities. Ensure compliance with workshop safety procedures, environmental standards. Perform repairs on pneumatic, hydraulic, and turbocharged engine systems to manufacturer standards. Test vehicles and equipment after repairs to confirm functionality, safety, and performance standards. Requirements: Qualification: Minimum of five (5) O'Level credits including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two sittings. Experience: Proven experience: in servicing heavy-duty trucks, trailers, tractors, and related equipment. Minimum of 5 years' experience: in diesel truck maintenance and repair. The Person Must: Be safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering quality repairs. Possess strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills on diesel trucks and heavy-duty equipment.
