We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Production Intern (Design) Location: Lekki, Lagos Job Description The ideal candidate should be able to create production-ready furniture designs with minimal supervision and have a good understanding of furniture construction and manufacturing processes. We are looking for a Production Intern (Design) with hands-on experience: in furniture design to support our production team. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are practical, manufacturable, and meet quality standards. Revise and update existing design files based on production requirements. Develop 2D drawings, 3D models, and CAD designs for sofas, beds, chairs, tables, and other furniture products. Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs), cutting lists, and material specifications. Participate in factory inspections, measurements, and production follow-ups. Gain practical exposure to furniture assembly methods, machining processes, and quality standards. Prepare production, assembly, and technical drawings for manufacturing. Support prototype development, product testing, and continuous design improvements. Requirements: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp, or similar CAD software. A portfolio showcasing previous furniture design work is required. Strong understanding of technical drawings, measurements, and furniture construction. Degree or certification in Product Design, Furniture Design, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field. Previous experience: designing furniture for manufacturing.
