We are recruiting for the Risk Control leadership development role at FoodCo Nigeria Limited, a leading multichannel retail company in Nigeria. Interested applicants must have basic understanding of risk management concepts (Operational, financial and compliance risk) ethical standards, keen analytical and critical thinking skills, and the ability to communicate effectively while mitigating organizational risks. Key Responsibilities: Assisting in the development and implementation of risk management policies and frameworks. Conducting risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities in business processes. Learning to use risk management software and tools to track, report, and analyze risks. Assisting in preparing risk reports, dashboards, and analyses for management decision-making. Supporting incident investigations and recommending corrective actions. Learning how to monitor compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. Understudying managers/supervisors in the risk management and compliance team to develop both technical and soft skills. Learning to evaluate emerging risks and developing proactive mitigation strategies. Assisting in designing and executing internal controls and process improvements. Learning to identify, assess, and mitigate operational and financial risks across the organization. Requirements: Ability to adapt to new challenges in a dynamic environment while handling multiple projects. Student membership of professional bodies such as ICAN, ACCA, CFA, or IRM is an added advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Minimum graduating GPA of second class upper / upper credit. Strong attention to detail and critical-thinking skills. High work ethic, personal and professional integrity, positive attitude, and passion for excellence. Age limit: 27 years. Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. A Bachelor’s Degree / Higher National Diploma in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. 0–2 years post NYSC experience. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience: with risk management, compliance, and internal control software is an advantage. Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines. Self-starter, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
