The successful candidate will assist in reviewing transactions, processes, records, and operational activities to ensure compliance with approved policies, identify control weaknesses and irregularities, and support the organization in improving accountability and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Maintain proper documentation and confidentiality of audit information. Conduct routine financial, operational, and compliance audits. Identify discrepancies, control gaps, irregularities, and potential risks. Investigate audit exceptions and document findings appropriately. Verify compliance with company policies, procedures, and approved controls. Prepare clear audit working papers, findings, and reports. Review transactions, invoices, receipts, records, and supporting documents. Recommend practical improvements to strengthen internal controls and reduce operational risks. Perform cash, stock, asset, revenue, and transaction verification. Reconcile records and independently verify reported balances and transactions. Follow up on agreed corrective actions and outstanding audit issues. Support special audits, investigations, and other assignments as directed. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. Strong numerical and analytical skills. High level of integrity, objectivity, confidentiality, and professionalism. 3-7 years’ relevant experience: in internal audit, external audit, accounting, or a related role. Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies. Good understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, audit procedures, and risk management. ICAN, ACCA, ACA, CIA, or relevant professional qualification is an advantage. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting system Good report-writing and communication skills.
