We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Internal Audit Manager Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary The successful candidate will provide independent assurance on governance, risk management, internal controls, and compliance across the Company’s operations, projects, and support functions. We are seeking an experienced and strategic Internal Audit Manager to lead its Internal Audit & Control function in Lagos. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute risk-based internal audit plans. Identify key risks and strengthen risk mitigation and control frameworks. Lead audits across operations, projects, procurement, contracts, assets, and support functions. Lead, coach, and develop the Internal Audit team. Track implementation of audit recommendations and drive continuous improvement. Advise Executive Management on governance, risk, compliance, fraud prevention, and operational effectiveness. Evaluate internal controls, governance processes, and risk management systems. Ensure audit activities incorporate HSE considerations and professional standards. Requirements: Experience: leading audits and supervising audit personnel. Strong experience: in project-based / operational environments; infrastructure, construction, telecoms, or energy experience: is preferred. 10–15 years relevant experience: in Internal Audit, Internal Controls, Risk Management, Assurance, or Compliance. ACA, ACCA, CIA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Desirable: Multi-project / multi-site operational experience. Capital projects, EPC contracts, and procurement-heavy environments. Familiarity with ISO standards and enterprise risk frameworks. Internal control framework development / improvement. Key Competencies: Strong communication & report writing. Ability to operate effectively in complex project-driven environments.
