They are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Supervisor Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary The ideal candidate should have strong leadership and organizational skills, a good understanding of salon/hair business operations, and the ability to manage both customers and staff effectively. The Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day management and smooth operation of the hair hub, ensuring excellent customer service, high-quality service delivery, staff productivity, proper inventory management, and achievement of revenue targets. Key Responsibilities: Daily Operations: Identify operational challenges and escalate issues appropriately. Ensure all services are delivered professionally and within agreed timelines. Ensure the hub is clean, organized, and maintained to the required standard at all times. Supervise the day-to-day activities of the hair hub and ensure smooth operations. Ensure the hub opens and closes according to approved operating hours. Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming, and compliance with company policies. Allocate duties and responsibilities: to Hair Stylists and other team members. Staff Supervision: Supervise, motivate, and coordinate Hair Stylists and other hub staff. Foster a professional, respectful, and customer-focused work environment. Provide coaching and on-the-job guidance to team members. Manage staff schedules, shifts, breaks, and client appointments. Identify training and development needs and recommend appropriate interventions. Address minor staff issues and escalate disciplinary matters to HR/Management where necessary. Monitor individual and team performance against agreed targets. Customer Experience: Ensure clients receive excellent and consistent customer service. Build strong relationships with regular customers and encourage customer retention. Ensure customers are properly informed about available services, pricing, promotions, and products. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally and promptly. Obtain customer feedback and identify opportunities to improve service delivery. Monitor client appointments, walk-ins, and service turnaround time. Sales & Revenue Management: Monitor daily sales and submit accurate revenue reports to management. Identify opportunities to increase revenue through additional services, product sales, and customer retention. Identify revenue leakages and immediately report suspected irregularities. Ensure proper handling and accountability of cash and electronic payments. Drive achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly revenue targets. Ensure all services rendered are properly recorded and paid for. Monitor sales performance by service and staff member. Inventory & Equipment Management: Coordinate repairs or replacement of faulty equipment when required. Ensure salon equipment and tools are properly maintained and safely used. Report low stock, damaged items, or unusual variances to management. Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks. Ensure products and materials are used appropriately and minimize wastage. Monitor stock levels of hair products, styling materials, consumables, and other supplies. Quality & Hygiene Control: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene requirements. Monitor the quality of hairstyles and services delivered to customers. Conduct regular checks of the workstations, customer areas, wash areas, and other facilities. Ensure tools and equipment are cleaned and disinfected appropriately. Ensure all stylists maintain professional hygiene and sanitation standards. Reporting & Administration: Track revenue, customer traffic, staff performance, inventory usage, and other relevant KPIs. Provide management with regular updates on the performance and challenges of the hub. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports. Maintain accurate records of appointments, services rendered, complaints, stock, and sales. Support the implementation of company policies, procedures, promotions, and initiatives. Requirements: Minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Management, or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and familiarity with POS or salon management systems is an advantage. 2–4 years of experience: in salon management, beauty/hair business operations, hospitality, retail, or a similar supervisory role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good understanding of sales, inventory, and basic financial management. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Previous experience: supervising a team is required. Strong customer service and people-management skills. Knowledge of hair salon operations and hair services is an added advantage.
