We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: QHSE Supervisor Location: Lagos Role and Responsibilities: Conducts the internal audits according to the approved audit plan... Ensures the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are being filled on time and corrective actions are implemented where needed. Organizes safety trainings and safety games. Generates Reports and submits them to the Direct Supervisor and Group QHSE on the performance of the IMS and suggest improvement when needed. Investigates and adjusts problems within area of responsibility when needed. Assists the Group and Local QHSE Representatives in conducting and coordinating safety training programs as necessary to ensure employees follow the IMS standards. Assists the Local QHSE Manager in the admin work. Attends Premises Committee meetings with client and QHSE Representatives to report on IMS issues. Assist the Group and Local QHSE Representatives in developing and maintaining the QHSE procedures and work methodologies. Supervises safety activities and initiatives. Evaluates the improvements of the operation in terms of QHSE. Visits i engineering’s sites for inspection, investigation, audit and maintenance of the IMS as instructed by the Group QHSE Representative or Country Head. Works closely with the Group QHSE Representatives and makes sure all procedures are properly communicated, understood, and implemented. Ensures the application of Environmental Procedures. Collects and analyzes data to demonstrate the effectiveness of the IMS Ensures Compliance with Legal, Client, Standard and other requirements. Improves employee environmental awareness. Promotes IMS Programs and awareness within the organization. Conducts incidents/accidents investigations. Makes suggestions with regards to the procedures and standards to enhance efficiency at work and improve product/service quality. Assists in the external audit as requested by the Group QHSE Representative. Ensures proper segregation of waste in the office and on sites. Conducts in coordination with the QHSE Representatives regular inspections to assess environmental and health & safety plan adherence as well as identify potential hazards and risks and ensures safe work practices are being followed. Ensures the Management Reviews are planned as per the Management Review procedure. Prepares and revises regularly the safety instructions, guidelines, procedures, work methodologies and policies. Compiles and maintains reports and records for the QHSE. Ensures the implementation and maintenance of the company’s Integrated Management System (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & ISO 22301) Provides regular safety tips for employees (EHS Alerts, Observations, etc.) Monitors the implementation of the company’s IMS policy. Assists the Group and Local QHSE Representatives in making recommendations for correction of unsafe work conditions or practices. Requirements: Education: Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Engineering/QHSE. Lead Auditor in OHSMS at least 1 of the following management Systems: QMS, EMS, BCMS. Holder of a professional certificate (Preferably: NEBOSH). Qualifications Requirements: Excellent presentation and communication skills. Ability to communicate in written and oral formats with diplomacy and tact. 3-5 years of relative work experience. An aptitude for exercising independent thinking and reasoning. Ability and willingness to travel in concerned country up to 80% of the time.
