We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Fine Dining Restaurant Manager Location: Abuja (FCT) , Employment Type: Full-time Direct Reports: Hostesses, Waiters/Waitresses, Sommelier (where applicable) Reports to: Food & Beverage Manager / General Manager Main Function The Fine Dining Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the fine dining restaurant, ensuring an exceptional, refined guest experience: consistent with luxury fine dining standards. Role Responsibilities: Service Excellence: Resolve guest concerns promptly, professionally, and discreetly. Ensure impeccable, personalized service delivery in line with fine dining etiquette and standards. Oversee reservations, seating arrangements, and VIP guest experiences. Manage private dining and special event requests within the restaurant. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and coach staff on fine dining service standards, menu knowledge, and wine/food pairing. Schedule staff to ensure appropriate coverage for service periods. Conduct pre-service briefings and performance evaluations. Operations & Financial Management: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations. Prepare performance reports for management. Work closely with the Executive Chef on menu planning and execution. Manage restaurant inventory, cost control, and profitability. Qualifications and Requirements: Education: Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field. Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years' experience: in fine dining restaurant operations, including at least 2 years in a managerial capacity in an upscale/luxury establishment.
