Aniso Specialist Medical Centre is seeking a competent, dedicated and patient-focused Medical Officer to join our clinical team on a permanent, full-time basis. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for: Communicating effectively with patients, relatives and other healthcare professionals. Making appropriate diagnoses and developing suitable treatment plans. Conducting patient consultations, clinical examinations and assessments. Adhering to clinical guidelines, hospital policies, infection-control standards and patient-safety protocols. Providing medical treatment, follow-up care and emergency management as required. Participating in clinical audits, quality improvement and continuing professional development activities. Maintaining accurate, complete and confidential patient records. Monitoring patients' progress and referring or escalating cases when necessary. Working collaboratively with nurses, specialists and other members of the clinical team. Requesting and interpreting relevant laboratory and diagnostic investigations. Requirements: Professionalism, reliability, accountability and respect for hospital structure. At least 1 year post-NYSC clinical experience: is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must reside in Benin City. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. MBBS or equivalent medical degree. Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN). Valid and up-to-date MDCN practising licence. Good clinical reasoning, decision-making and patient management skills.
