Read more about this company Scrap Recycling Supervisor Job Type Full Time Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience: 2 years Location Anambra City Awka Job Field Manufacturing Job Summary As a Scrap Recycling Supervisor, you will oversee the sorting and inspection of aluminium scrap in the recycling yard. You will lead a team to enforce strict quality standards, prevent malpractice, and protect the company from losses. Key Responsibilities: Supervise daily scrap recycling and sorting operations. Inspect incoming scrap loads to detect and remove rejects (iron, contaminants, etc.). Monitor weighbridge activity to ensure rejects are not passed off as usable scrap. Lead, train, and discipline sorting staff to follow proper recycling procedures. Keep accurate records of accepted and rejected scrap. Report irregularities or suspected malpractice to management immediately. Ensure compliance with safety and housekeeping standards in the scrap yard. Requirements: Minimum of HND in any discipline. At least 2 years’ supervisory or factory experience: (manufacturing, recycling, or FMCG preferred). High integrity and zero tolerance for dishonesty.
