We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance & Accounts Intern to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for a fresh graduate looking to gain practical experience: in accounting, financial operations, banking transactions, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The successful candidate will support the Finance & Accounts team in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing schedules, and supporting the company's hire purchase and operating lease portfolio. Key Responsibilities: Support the Finance team with other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned. Update the portfolio collection report weekly for hire purchase and operating lease transactions. Maintain accurate accounts payable and accounts receivable records. Prepare and submit relevant documents to banks and follow up on pending banking transactions. Post daily journals, including payment transactions and hire purchase inflows. Perform daily bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. Ensure financial records and supporting documents are properly maintained and readily accessible. Review, document, and file bills, invoices, receipts, and supporting financial documents. Assist in preparing month-end schedules and supporting documentation. Assist with the preparation of monthly WHT (Withholding Tax) and VAT schedules. Qualifications & Requirements: Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Strong organizational and record-keeping skills. Good attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial transactions. High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling financial information. Strong analytical and numerical skills. B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Banking & Finance, or a related discipline. Fresh graduate or candidate with 0–1 year of relevant experience.
