The Business Development Officer (BDO) at Ibhamu Limited will drive business growth by identifying new business opportunities, securing enterprise clients, and expanding the company's footprint across key target sectors, including financial services, oil & gas, government, healthcare, and telecommunications. The BDO will actively promote Ibhamu Limited’s suite of enterprise IT infrastructure services—such as server and cloud architecture, network engineering, data center solutions, and cybersecurity—building strong client relationships and closing high-value deals. Key Responsibilities: Achieve monthly and annual revenue targets established by executive leadership. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified enterprise leads for IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data center services. Build and manage long-term strategic relationships with key stakeholders, IT managers, and C-level executives. Prepare, present, and follow up on commercial proposals, tender/RFP bids, and client contracts in coordination with the technical engineering team. Identify, target, and acquire new corporate clients across key target sectors (banking, healthcare, oil & gas, government, and telecom). Conduct client meetings, deliver persuasive sales presentations, and demonstrate the technical and business value of Ibhamu Limited’s solutions. Conduct market research to analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities in the Nigerian IT sector. Requirements: Education: Requirements: Relevant certifications in IT sales or relationship management (e.g., ITIL, Certified Sales Professional) are an added advantage. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. Experience: Requirements: Minimum of 3–5 years of proven experience: as a Business Development Officer/Executive, Sales Specialist, or Account Manager within the IT, Telecommunications, or Technology infrastructure space. Documented track record of consistently meeting or exceeding B2B sales quotas and revenue targets. Required Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical, strategic planning, and deal-closing skills. Demonstrated ability to build relationships with executive stakeholders (CIOs, CTOs, IT Directors). Excellent verbal, written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong B2B sales, account management, and lead generation capabilities in the IT/Tech sector. Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho), Microsoft Office Suite, and proposal writing. Deep knowledge of IT infrastructure, enterprise networking, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions. Other Requirements: Willingness to travel locally within Nigeria for prospective client meetings and business events. Must be resident in Lagos, Abuja or Rivers, Nigeria. Strong professional network within corporate IT, banking, or government sectors. High level of personal integrity, self-motivation, and result-oriented drive.
