We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Machine Operator Location: Ibeju Lekki, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and responsibleMachine Operatorto join our production team in a manufacturing company operating within thebottling, table water, and agro-chemical industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, monitoring, adjusting, and maintaining production machines to ensure smooth production, product quality, and achievement of daily production targets. Experience: operating filling machines, labeling machines, and mould machines is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities: Perform other duties related to machine operation and production as assigned by management. Conduct regular quality checks on products during production. Identify machine faults, irregularities, blockages, and production issues and report them promptly. Work closely with the Production Supervisor, Maintenance Team, Quality Control Team, and other operators. Ensure proper handling of raw materials, packaging materials, bottles, containers, and finished products. Operate filling machines to ensure accurate and consistent filling of products. Ensure machines are operated according to the company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Operate and monitor filling, labeling, and mould machinesefficiently and safely. Follow all company health, safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations. Properly use all requiredPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE). Monitor machine performance and production output throughout the production process. Where assigned to the agro-chemical production section, strictly follow procedures for the safe handling and production of chemical products. Meet daily and monthly production targets while maintaining required quality standards. Operate mould machines and monitor the moulding process to ensure products meet required specifications. Ensure the production area and machines are kept clean and properly organized. Operate labeling machines and ensure labels are properly positioned, aligned, and securely attached. Immediately report safety hazards, equipment faults, spills, defective products, or other production concerns to the supervisor. Set up machines before production and make necessary adjustments during production. Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance. Maintain accurate records of production quantities, machine downtime, faults, and other relevant information. Carry out basic troubleshooting and minor adjustments when necessary. Machines / Equipment: The successful candidate may be assigned to operate one or more of the following: Filling Machine Mould Machine Other automated or semi-automated production machinery Bottle/Container Production Equipment Labeling Machine Packaging and production-line equipment Requirements: Physically fit and able to work in a production environment. Experience: inbottling, table water, beverage, food, packaging, plastics, chemical, or agro-chemical manufacturingis preferred. Good understanding of workplace safety and hygiene practices. Minimum o 2 years relevant experienceas a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment. Ability to work shifts and meet production targets. Good attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues. Candidates with experience: inagro-chemical production or chemical manufacturingwill have an added advantage. Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting. Minimum of SSCE / WAEC / NECO; OND, NCE, or a technical qualification is an added advantage.
