We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and experienced Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing exceptional interior concepts, creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces, managing design execution, and contributing to the overall delivery of high-quality interior design projects. The Interior Designer will report to the CEO and work closely with the design team and project team to translate client visions into refined design solutions while ensuring consistency with Oak and Teak's design standards. Key Responsibilities: Source, procure, and coordinate materials, furniture, fixtures, and design elements. Work closely with project teams to ensure designs are executed accurately and meet quality standards. Produce 3D designs, visualisations, and technical drawings using relevant design software. Style and curate interior spaces, including furniture, accessories, finishes, and décor selections. Develop creative and functional interior design concepts based on client briefs and project requirements. Participate in client meetings, design presentations, and project reviews where required. Design and develop interior spaces from concept stage through execution. Style completed spaces to ensure a cohesive and polished final look. Create design presentations, mood boards, space plans, material selections, and design proposals. Develop and maintain cohesive design themes and concepts across projects. Procurement & Sourcing: Stay updated on current interior design trends, materials, and industry innovations. Source furniture, décor accessories, fabrics, lighting, artwork and other styling elements locally and internationally. Support the procurement process by providing design direction and approvals. Requirements: & Qualifications Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Must have attended a recognised interior design school or professional interior design programme. Strong understanding of space planning, materials, finishes, furniture selection, and styling. 3–5 years' work experience: as an Interior Designer within an interior design firm. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Proficiency in Canva, PowerPoint, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit and other 3D design software/tools is an advantage. Strong portfolio demonstrating experience: in residential and/or commercial interior projects. Excellent creative thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Experience: in design procurement and vendor coordination. Bachelor's degree/HND in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field from a prestigious school. Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate is passionate about interior design, has a strong eye for aesthetics, understands luxury and functional spaces, and can confidently take a project from concept development to final execution. The candidate must be able to balance creativity with practicality and work effectively within a fast-paced design and project environment.
