We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and management of our corporate head office, warehouses, workshops, staff facilities, and other company properties in Port Harcourt. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities, equipment, infrastructure, and critical utilities remain safe, functional, reliable, and fit for purpose to support uninterrupted business operations. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate maintenance schedules, asset registers, equipment history, and service records. Ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection systems, generators, water treatment systems, and other building services. Provide regular maintenance performance reports, budget updates, and strategic recommendations to the COO. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure facilities meet operational and business requirements. Liaise with vendors and contractors, negotiate service agreements, and monitor contractor performance. Coordinate emergency maintenance activities and respond promptly to facility-related issues to minimise operational disruptions. Prepare, monitor, and manage the maintenance department budget while identifying cost-saving opportunities. Oversee the maintenance of corporate offices, warehouses, workshops, staff facilities, and other company properties. Ensure generators, backup utilities, and other critical infrastructure remain operational and reliable. Supervise, mentor, and evaluate maintenance personnel, contractors, and service providers. Ensure compliance with all applicable Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (HSSE) policies, statutory requirements, and industry best practices. Support facility improvement projects, renovations, repairs, and infrastructure upgrades. Develop, implement, and manage preventive and corrective maintenance programmes across company facilities. Manage the procurement and inventory of maintenance tools, spare parts, equipment, and consumables. Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance requirements, safety hazards, and opportunities for improvement. Requirements: 7–10 years' relevant experience: in maintenance or facilities management, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role. Good knowledge of Nigerian HSSE requirements: and relevant industry best practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience: with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is desirable. Membership of a relevant professional body and/or COREN registration will be an added advantage. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure. Excellent leadership, organisational, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. B.Tech, Bachelor's Degree, or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related engineering discipline. Previous experience: in the Oil & Gas, industrial, manufacturing, or related sector is highly desirable. Strong technical knowledge of building systems, facilities management, preventive maintenance, and asset management.
