The role involves processing and tracking customer deposits and withdrawals, monitoring betting wallet transactions, reconciling payment records, resolving transaction discrepancies, and liaising with payment provider Min Qualification: Degree Experience: Level: Senior level Experience: Length: 5 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Lagos, Nigeria Job descriptions & requirements: Responsibilities: Process and monitor customer deposits and withdrawal requests on the betting platform. Verify withdrawal requests and ensure customers meet the company's payment and betting requirements: before processing. Monitor customer betting wallets and ensure deposits, withdrawals, refunds, and reversals are accurately reflected. Monitor payment gateways, bank transfers, cards, USSD, wallets, and other payment channels. Investigate failed, pending, declined, reversed, duplicated, and delayed transactions. Conduct daily reconciliation of betting platform transactions against bank and payment provider records. Identify and investigate payment discrepancies and unexplained variances. Monitor payment settlements and ensure funds received from payment providers are properly accounted for. Liaise with banks and payment service providers to resolve transaction and settlement issues. Monitor transactions for unusual or suspicious activities and escalate potential fraud or compliance concerns. Work with the Risk & Compliance team on suspicious transactions, account restrictions, and payment-related investigations. Work closely with Customer Support to resolve customer complaints relating to deposits and withdrawals. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly payment and reconciliation reports. Maintain accurate records of all payment transactions, adjustments, reversals, refunds, and settlements. Ensure proper documentation and audit trails are maintained for payment activities. Support the Finance team with payment-related reporting and financial controls. Identify recurring payment issues and recommend improvements to payment processes. Ensure all payment activities comply with company policies, financial controls, and applicable gaming and regulatory requirements. Perform other payment and finance-related duties assigned by Management. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Banking & Finance, or a related field . ICAN, ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or other recognised professional accounting/finance certification is an added advantage. 5–6 years of experience: in payment operations, finance operations, reconciliation, fintech, banking, gaming, or a related field. Previous experience: in a sports betting, gaming, sportsbook, or high-volume digital payment environment is strongly preferred. Good understanding of betting deposits, withdrawals, betting wallets, payment gateways, and transaction settlements. Strong knowledge of reconciliation and financial controls.
