The role focuses on assessing, planning, and implementing integrity and life extension strategies for Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) facilities, with particular attention to structural, mechanical, and electrical systems. Day-to-day tasks include conducting technical inspections and reliability assessments, reviewing and updating maintenance and inspection plans, and coordinating engineering studies for aging equipment and hull structures. The engineer will prepare design calculations, technical reports, and modification proposals, and support the development of upgrade and refurbishment scopes that comply with applicable offshore, class, and safety standards. This position involves working closely with multidisciplinary project teams, vendors, and clients to schedule and execute life extension projects, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable FPSO operations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Marine, Structural, Electrical, Strong FPSO and offshore engineering expertise, including asset integrity management, life extension methodologies, and familiarity with class rules and offshore regulations. Proficiency in mechanical and structural engineering for offshore assets, including rotating equipment, piping systems, hull structure assessments, and corrosion protection strategies. Experience: with electrical and instrumentation systems on offshore facilities, such as power distribution, control systems, safety and fire detection, and monitoring systems for critical equipment. Capability in project engineering and coordination, including planning, scheduling, scope development, and interface management with multidisciplinary teams and contractors. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and inspection data to recommend practical solutions. Solid understanding of HSE standards and risk management for offshore environments, with commitment to safe work practices and regulatory compliance. Effective communication and reporting skills for preparing technical documentation, presenting findings to stakeholders, and collaborating with offshore and onshore teams.
