We are looking for an educator who can take students beyond basic computer appreciation and introduce them to digital literacy, computational thinking, coding, problem-solving and practical technology projects . The successful candidate should be comfortable teaching technology through hands-on activities and helping students develop skills relevant to today's digital world. Responsibilities: Plan and deliver practical Computer Studies and ICT lessons. Teach students digital literacy and responsible use of technology. Introduce students to coding and computational thinking. Teach age-appropriate programming using tools and languages such as Scratch, Python, HTML, CSS and/or JavaScript . Teach productivity applications such as Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace. Develop practical coding, technology and digital projects for students. Help students develop logical thinking, creativity and technology-based problem-solving skills. Integrate technology into project-based and STEM learning where appropriate. Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials and practical activities. Assess students' progress and maintain appropriate academic records. Maintain an organised and safe computer-learning environment. Support appropriate educational technology initiatives within the school. Participate in staff training and continuous professional development. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree, HND, NCE or relevant qualification in Computer Science, Computer Education, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related discipline. Strong practical computer skills. Good understanding of Computer Studies and digital literacy. Knowledge of at least one coding/programming environment or language. Familiarity with Scratch, Python, HTML/CSS and/or JavaScript is an advantage. Ability to use Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace effectively. Good communication and classroom management skills.
