The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and availability of the company’s IT systems while supporting business applications, digital transformation initiatives, and regulatory technology requirements: within a stockbroking environment. They are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Information Technology (IT) Officer to manage and support the organization’s technology infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, databases, network devises and end-user computing systems. Implement cyber-security controls and support vulnerability management, endpoint protection, and incident response activities. Monitor system performance and proactively resolve infrastructure, network, and application issues. Ensure data integrity, availability, and effective database administration. Administer cloud-hosted environments and ensure optimal performance, availability, and security. Support digital marketing initiatives through basic graphic design and technology enablement. Maintain and update the company’s website and digital platforms. Prepare technical documentation, reports, and system performance metrics. Manage enterprise backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes. Administer user account, access rights, password policies, and identity management. Ensure compliance with relevant IT governance, cybersecurity, and regulatory standards. Support the deployment and implementation, and post-implementation stabilization of new software applications. Requirements: The ideal candidates should possess: Demonstrable knowledge of cloud computing platforms and cloud hosted-infrastructure. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong hands-on experience: in Windows/Linus server Administration and database management. Sound knowledge of cybersecurity principles, endpoint security, access management, and IT risk controls. Practical knowledge of networking technologies, troubleshooting and infrastructure support. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Experience: supporting enterprise software implementation and post-go-live optimization. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results under minimal supervision. Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related discipline. Knowledge of website administration, digital marketing technologies, and basic graphic design tools will be an added advantage. Strong understanding of backup technologies, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning. Experience: managing Active Directory, user account, system permissions, and identity management. Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant IT experience: with substantial experience: within a licensed stockbroking, capital market, or financial services institution.
