In this hands-on role, you will monitor, fine-tune, and maintain the chemical, thermal, and deposition processes across our high-volume silicon solar cell production lines—ensuring high cell conversion efficiency, optimal yield, and zero defect rates. Key Responsibilities: Process Monitoring & Equipment Operation: Oversee automated silicon cell production equipment across core fabrication stages: chemical texturing/alkali etching, phosphorus/boron diffusion, PECVD anti-reflective coating, laser contact opening (LCO), metallization screen printing, and firing furnaces. Process Stability & Control: Monitor real-time parameters (temperatures, gas flows, chemical concentrations, deposition rates) using Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools to maintain target yields and prevent batch deviations. Quality & Defect Analysis: Perform routine quality checks using EL (Electroluminescence) imaging, IV curve testing, and optical measurement equipment to detect micro-cracks, surface defects, or color variations. First-Line Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance (PM), chemical bath replacements, screen changes, and basic mechanical/electronic troubleshooting when alarms or process stoppages occur. Safety & Cleanroom Compliance: Strictly adhere to cleanroom standards (Class 1,000/10,000) and follow chemical safety protocols for handling hazardous production materials (eg, HF, silane, acids, pastes). Qualifications & Requirements: Education: OND, HND, or B.Sc / B.Eng in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Applied Physics, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline. Experience: 1–3+ years of experience: in solar cell manufacturing, semiconductor fabrication, or advanced automated industrial manufacturing. Technical Skills: Good understanding of silicon wafer processing or automated machine operations. Hands-on familiarity with measurement instruments (calipers, multimeters) and computer literacy (MS Excel, Manufacturing Execution Systems / MES). Ability to follow technical SOPs and read basic equipment control interfaces. Work Conditions: Ability to work in full cleanroom apparel ("bunny suits"), stand for long periods, lift equipment up to 20 kg, and work 12-hour rotating shifts.
