We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Sales Representative Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers Employment Type: Contract (Hybrid) Role Description The Sales Representative is responsible for identifying prospective clients, presenting Niger Delta Innovate’s programs and services, and closing sales that support growth in the Port Harcourt area. Day-to-day tasks include Visiting qualified Secondary Schools to market our digital Technology proposal This is a contract role. It is a hybrid position based in Port Harcourt, with a combination of on-site activities and some work-from-home flexibility. Generating leads, scheduling school appointments, conducting outreach via calls, messages, and meetings, delivering sales presentations, and maintaining accurate records in sales tracking tools. The role also involves building long-term relationships, gathering client feedback, and collaborating with the internal team to refine offerings and marketing messages. Qualifications Basic understanding of digital skills, technology-driven services, or entrepreneurship programs, and willingness to learn more about the tech ecosystem. Relevant post-secondary education: or equivalent practical experience: in sales, marketing, business, or a related field is beneficial. Previous experience: in sales, business development, or community outreach is an advantage. Demonstrated skills in sales outreach, lead generation, and closing deals, with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets. Experience: in client relationship management, customer service, and maintaining organized records of interactions and sales activities. Comfort with using productivity tools and online platforms for communication, reporting, and sales tracking. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, including the ability to explain digital and innovation-focused offerings clearly. Ability to work independently and in a team, manage time effectively, and adapt to a hybrid work environment in Port Harcourt.
