The Dolché Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in the seamless day-to-day running of the Dolché Beauty dry bar and retail space. The Assistant Store Manager steps in as acting manager in the Store Manager’s absence and serves as a key support pillar on the floor—helping drive sales, maintaining exceptional client experiences, coaching staff, and ensuring operational consistency. This role assists in team supervision, client experience: delivery, sales, and inventory management, always upholding Dolché’s signature standard of luxury, efficiency, and professionalism. Key Responsibilities: Customer Service & Sales - Greet and welcome clients, ensuring every visit reflects Dolché’s premium experience. - Drive retail and service sales through confident product recommendations and upselling. - Resolve customer concerns on the spot and escalate unresolved issues to the Store Manager. - Maintain thorough knowledge of Dolché’s wig, extension, accessory, and haircare product lines. - Support smooth booking and check-in flow using the Wix platform. Store Operations Support - Assist with opening and closing procedures, ensuring all systems, equipment, and the Wix POS platform are functioning properly. - Support end-of-day cash reconciliation and flag discrepancies to the Store Manager. - Maintain store cleanliness, product displays, and styling station presentation in line with Dolché’s luxury aesthetic. - Ensure service stations, tools, and equipment are sanitized and reset between clients and at close of business. - Act as Manager-on-Duty in the Store Manager’s absence, making operational decisions as needed. Brand Standards & Store Experience: - Uphold Dolché’s luxury brand standards in service delivery, communication, and store presentation. - Ensure wig displays, mannequin heads, and styling stations are consistently well-presented. - Model exemplary customer service etiquette for the team. - Maintain a polished, organized, and on-brand store environment at all times. Staff & Stylist Support - Assist the Store Manager in executing daily staff schedules and briefings. - Monitor stylist attendance, punctuality, and adherence to Dolché service standards. - Support stylists with service flow to ensure smooth client throughput. - Help onboard new team members and reinforce brand standards and service etiquette. - Escalate performance or disciplinary concerns to the Store Manager promptly. POS / Wix Platform Support - Process customer checkouts, bookings, and payments using Wix POS. - Assist with updating inventory, product listings, and service entries on Wix. - Monitor daily sales figures and flag anomalies to the Store Manager. - Support basic POS troubleshooting and escalate technical issues where necessary. Inventory & Stock Assistance - Assist with routine stock counts and maintain accurate records in Wix. - Receive, inspect, and log incoming goods, flagging quality issues immediately. - Monitor daily consumable usage and alert management when restocking is needed. - Help track discrepancies and support measures to reduce stock loss. Administrative Support - Complete opening, closing, and sanitization checklists daily. - Support the Store Manager in preparing weekly operational summaries. - Track client feedback and flag service quality trends for review. - Maintain accurate records of team attendance and shift changes. Working Hours: The Assistant Store Manager must be available during Dolché’s full operating hours: - Tuesday – Thursday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM - Friday & Saturday: 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM - Sunday: 1:00 PM – 7:30 PM - Monday: Store closed (administrative or training tasks may be assigned) The Assistant Store Manager is required to arrive 30 minutes before opening and remain until all closing duties are complete. Requirements: Some experience: supporting a team or assisting in a supervisory capacity. Minimum of 2 years of experience: in retail, beauty, salon, dry bar, or hospitality. Familiarity with POS systems; Wix POS experience: is an advantage. Previous customer-facing experience: in a luxury or high-end environment preferred.
