The Stock Controller is responsible for managing and monitoring inventory levels to ensure accuracy, accountability, and efficient stock movement within the organization. The role involves receiving, recording, tracking, and reconciling stock while maintaining proper documentation and preventing inventory loss or discrepancies. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records. Prepare inventory reports and submit them to management as required. Identify shortages, damages, or discrepancies and report promptly. Conduct regular stock counts and inventory reconciliation. Coordinate with procurement and operations teams to ensure adequate stock levels. Track stock movement and update inventory systems accordingly. Maintain proper documentation of stock transactions and transfers. Ensure compliance with company inventory policies and procedures. Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock deliveries. Minimize stock loss, wastage, and pilferage. Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory items. Support audits by providing accurate inventory records and reports. Requirements: & Qualifications Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and practices. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and under pressure. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Strong numerical and analytical skills. Minimum of OND / HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Familiarity with inventory management software is an added advantage.
