Key Responsibilities: Operations Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee all logistics operations. Ensure efficient movement of goods from origin to destination. Supervise transportation, dispatch, warehousing, and delivery operations. Develop operational strategies that improve productivity and service quality. Monitor daily logistics activities to ensure timely execution. Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics. Work closely with customers, suppliers, and transport partners. Improve supply chain efficiency and visibility. Resolve operational bottlenecks quickly. Warehouse & Inventory Oversight: Supervise warehouse activities. Ensure proper inventory control. Monitor stock movement and storage conditions. Implement inventory accuracy procedures. Team Leadership: Lead logistics officers, dispatch teams, drivers, warehouse personnel, and support staff. Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate employees. Develop high-performance teams. Establish performance targets and KPIs. Customer Service: Maintain excellent relationships with clients. Ensure customer deliveries meet agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Handle escalated customer complaints professionally. Continuously improve customer satisfaction. Technology & Process Improvement: Utilize logistics management software, GPS tracking systems, and fleet management tools. Analyze operational data and generate reports.
