We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Production Manager Location: SSC P-Numan, Adamawa Job Summary To plan, direct, coordinate, and control all production activities of the factory to achieve targeted cane crushing, sugar production, quality standards, operational efficiency, cost control, and safety objectives while ensuring optimum utilization of manpower, equipment, and resources. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and implement production plans to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal targets. Identify operational bottlenecks and implement improvement measures. Coordinate all factory production activities from cane reception through sugar packaging. Ensure proper deployment and utilization of manpower. Ensure prompt reporting and resolution of equipment failures affecting production. Develop a culture of teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence. Participate in planning preventive maintenance, annual shutdowns, and commissioning activities. Drive initiatives aimed at maximizing sugar recovery and minimizing losses. Lead and supervise Process Managers, Shift Managers, Production Supervisors, and other production personnel. Monitor factory efficiency indicators and recovery performance Promote continuous improvement and best manufacturing practices. Ensure optimum utilization of plant capacity and resources. Monitor production performance and take corrective actions to achieve operational objectives. Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs. Educational Qualification and Work Experience: Any relevant professional Certification is an added advantage. A minimum of 15 years’ experience: in sugar industries.
