The successful candidate will be responsible for inventory control, sales monitoring, cash reconciliation, customer service and general supervision of the shop. Min Qualification: OND Experience: Level: Entry level Experience: Length: 2 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Lagos, Nigeria Job descriptions & requirements: Responsibilities: Manage the daily opening, operation, and closing of the shop. Record all stock received, sold, transferred, damaged, or returned. Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile them with inventory records. Monitor stock levels and recommend products for restocking before they run out. Track expiry dates and ensure older stock is sold first. Maintain accurate selling prices, product labels and shelf displays. Monitor daily sales and reconcile cash, bank transfers and POS transactions. Ensure that all customer payments are made only to authorised company accounts or approved payment channels. Prepare daily and weekly reports on sales, stock levels, expenses and discrepancies. Investigate and report stock shortages, damaged products and unusual transactions. Supervise other shop attendants and ensure that assigned duties are completed. Attend to customers professionally and help improve the overall customer experience. Keep the shop, storage areas, shelves and freezers clean and properly organised. Support promotional activities and encourage customers to purchase relevant products. Carry out other reasonable duties required for the effective operation of the shop.
