We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Restaurant General Manager Location: Ikeja and Victoria Island - Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Description Manage the restaurant in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures including directing the activities of employees in maximizing and achieve customer, people, sales, operating efficiency and profit objectives and targets. Ensure all employees are provided with the appropriate training and resources to perform their duties safely Assume overall responsibility for the correct implementation of the Employee, Customer and Visitor Safety according to company policy, procedures and standards. Achieve Customer Hospitality Standards within the restaurant by ensuring that all employees are focused on exceeding customer expectations for Great Product, Great Service and Maintaining a Great Restaurant. Act as a role model, providing leadership and coaching on an ongoing basis to the team and management in restaurants Responsibilities: Forecast and schedule management and team member labour, semi variables and cost of Food and Packaging within budget. Implement restaurant training programs for team members and management to enable them to meet the standards required, maximize performance and realize their career potential. Proactively identify and develop talent as part of the bench planning strategy for the restaurant and brand. Ensure tasks are only undertaken by those employees certified to perform them. Other duties as required ongoing and from time to time. Coordinate the effective recruitment and selection of team members using company systems. Keep the Area Coach informed of any competitive activity that is likely to affect the trading results of the restaurant. Monitor performance and implement corrective action where required. Ensure that controls and procedures are implemented to protect the security of employees and company funds and assets. Report to the Area Coach any aspect of employee relations, customer service, attendance of and/or inspections by third parties that have or are likely to affect the operation of the restaurant.
