We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Position: Backend Engineer (Elixir) Job Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Work Mode: Hybrid Responsibilities: Support and maintain existing production code in the field and develop and deliver new enhancements and products to our client base. Collaborate with product management, operations, quality assurance, and front-end engineers to deliver the right solution. Develop reliable, high-performance service applications using Elixir - Phoenix. Provision, configure, and develop against remote infrastructure in AWS. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline with at least 3 years of programming experience: with Elixir Must have experience: defining the scope and directing the work of mid-level - junior software engineers Integration of user-facing elements developed by a front-end developer with our API Building reusable code and libraries for future use Experience: with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability Separation of centralized services into microservices Experience: with Git, Jenkins, Docker, Ansible/Chef/Puppet, or similar tools Pride in readable, well-designed, well-tested software. Experience: with relational databases (PostGreSQL, MySQL) and key-value stores (Memcache, Redis). Proficiency in the use of AI tools to accelerate development, debugging, testing, documentation, and problem-solving. Good oral and written communication skills.
